At the in-person orientation for WVJC Morgantown nursing students, excitement filled the room as the new class prepared to begin their journey toward becoming healthcare professionals. Students eagerly shared what they were most excited about, with many expressing their passion for helping others and positively impacting people’s lives. The opportunity to learn new skills, from clinical procedures to patient care, was a notable highlight.
Many students mentioned how much they looked forward to the hands-on training and working with patients, as they knew it would be both challenging and rewarding. Another common theme was anticipating the practical application of their knowledge in real-life situations. Many students expressed a sense of determination, knowing that these next 18 months will be demanding, but they are eager to embrace the challenge.
